Contact enquiries, email and notifications
Contact enquiries are stored in our support inbox. Staff replies to a website enquiry are emailed to the email address you gave, through our authorised Gmail account, and kept in the support inbox with their delivery status. Authorised staff can opt into browser push notifications. We store their browser push endpoint and staff identity for delivery; lock-screen notifications use a generic new-message alert rather than customer message text. Browser notification permissions can be revoked in the browser or support preferences.
Scope and definitions
Kade Networks handles information for its website, customer accounts, connectivity and support. Personal data is information that identifies you, alone or with other information. Processing includes collecting, using, storing or sharing it. This notice explains those activities; it is not blanket consent to every possible use.
Account and service information
Information associated with a service may include your name, address, phone number, email address, identification or passport details where required for registration, and billing and equipment records. The information needed depends on the service and registration requirements.
Technical records may include IP assignments, MAC addresses, session records and PPPoE, DHCP, RADIUS, router and security logs. These records support connection authentication, troubleshooting and account security.
Sources and necessary information
Information comes from your enquiries, registration, payments and support interactions, and from the systems delivering your connection. Where an authorised representative supplies details, they must have authority to do so. Missing information needed to provide a service may prevent that service from being activated.
How information is used
Relevant information is used to register and authenticate subscribers, deliver services, manage billing, respond to support requests, investigate faults, detect fraud and protect the network. Records may also be required for disputes, regulatory compliance and lawful investigations.
Lawful processing
Processing must have a lawful basis: performing your service agreement, meeting legal duties, consent where required, or a legitimate interest such as fraud prevention balanced against your rights. Collection must be limited to information necessary for the stated purpose.
Website, chat and calls
When you contact us through this website, your contact details, messages and attachments are stored in the support inbox so staff can respond. Website visit information may include the page visited, referral, device and country where available.
The website’s live calls are not recorded. A voice message is recorded only when you deliberately record and send one. Record categories discussed in service policies do not imply that every interaction is recorded.
Cookies and preferences
The website presents cookie choices for first-time visitors. You can accept all, reject non-essential cookies or manage the preferences offered in the notice. Essential storage supports necessary website functionality; your saved choice determines the optional categories you permit.
Browser storage and visitor measurement
A cookie is a small browser-stored value; local storage retains preferences on your device. This website saves your cookie choice locally. Optional visitor measurement records page paths, referring website, broad device category, country where available, visit times and page-view counts. Its visitor record does not store IP addresses or page query strings.
When you chat with the Kade assistant, our support team records your IP address, approximate network location, browser details and your messages so they can help you. If your browser asks to share your device location and you allow it, we also store those coordinates. Websites cannot read a device’s MAC address, so we do not collect it. Ask us to delete this record at support@kadenetworks.com.
The analytics visitor cookie lasts up to one day. That cookie duration is not the retention period for server-side visit records. The site does not currently use advertising cookies. Rejecting optional analytics does not prevent you from viewing pages or requesting support.
You can . Clearing browser storage removes saved preferences and may cause the notice to appear again.
Service messages and marketing choices
Account and service messages are separate from promotional messages. Where marketing consent is required, it must be obtained separately. Ask us to stop marketing at info@kadenetworks.com; this does not cancel necessary billing or support communications. Withdrawing consent does not invalidate earlier lawful processing.
Service providers and optional support tools
This website uses hosted infrastructure for page delivery, support records and uploaded files. Staff access to support information is controlled through authenticated accounts. Files and conversation records are used to respond to your request.
If the optional AI drafting integration is configured and a staff member invokes it, the selected draft and, for reply prediction, recent customer-visible conversation messages are sent to the configured AI provider (Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini or OpenAI) to propose a response. Internal notes are excluded from the conversation sent by that feature. This is a staff-requested drafting tool, not a decision on your service entitlement.
Live calling uses browser media permissions and connection-signalling services. Camera or microphone access requires your permission. Connection services may handle technical network information to establish the call. Opening WhatsApp takes you to a separately operated service with its own privacy terms. When you message our WhatsApp Business number, your messages, your WhatsApp profile name and our replies (including replies we send from the WhatsApp Business app, and recent chat history and contact names copied once when the number is connected) are stored in our support inbox so staff can respond.
Sharing safeguards and international handling
Providers handling personal data must be limited to authorised purposes with appropriate confidentiality and security safeguards. Disclosures to authorities require a lawful basis. Hosting or support providers may process information outside Kenya; such transfers must satisfy applicable Kenyan transfer requirements. Contact us for details relevant to your account.
Evidence preservation and lawful disclosure
Relevant authentication, payment, security and support records may be preserved to investigate an incident, resolve a dispute or respond to litigation or a lawful regulatory or law-enforcement request. Information disclosed for these purposes must be handled in accordance with applicable data-protection requirements.
Security and incident reporting
Use the secure website and keep credentials private. Do not send passwords, payment PINs or verification codes through chat. Report suspected exposure to support@kadenetworks.com. Appropriate protective measures and legally required incident notifications must be applied; no internet service can promise absolute security.
Retention and privacy requests
Retention requirements depend on the record type and its service, billing, security or legal purpose. This notice does not specify a fixed retention period for every category. Contact us for information about the records held for your account and applicable retention arrangements.
For questions about your information, or requests for access, correction or deletion, email info@kadenetworks.com. We may need to verify your identity before handling an account-related request. Deletion requests may be affected by applicable recordkeeping or evidence-preservation obligations.
Retention principles
Identifiable records must not be kept longer than necessary for their legitimate purpose. Account status, unresolved disputes, legal recordkeeping and security investigations affect that assessment. Information no longer required should be securely deleted or anonymised. A closed account does not automatically remove records still lawfully needed.
Your information rights
- Be informed about the collection and use of your personal data.
- Request access and correction of inaccurate or misleading information.
- Object to processing and request deletion where the law allows.
- Act through a duly authorised representative; a parent or guardian may exercise applicable rights for a child.
See the ODPC explanation of data-subject rights. Requests are subject to the applicable legal conditions and must respect other people’s information.
Data deletion
You can ask Kade Networks to delete personal information we hold about you, such as website enquiries, chat conversations, attachments and visitor records. Email info@kadenetworks.com with the subject “Data deletion request”, from the email address or phone number you used with us, and tell us what you want deleted. We confirm your identity before acting and tell you when the deletion is complete.
Some records cannot be deleted immediately, for example billing, security or other records we must keep by law or for an open dispute. If that applies, we tell you which records are kept, why, and for how long they are needed.
Sign in with Google, Facebook, Apple or X is used only by Kade staff. When it is used, we receive the email address from that provider to match it to an existing staff account and start a sign-in session. We do not store the provider’s access token, profile photo, contacts or posts. To remove this data, ask us to delete the staff account using the address above, and remove Kade Networks from the connected apps in your Google, Facebook, Apple or X account settings.
Portability, restriction and automated decisions
Where the legal conditions apply, you may request restriction of processing or a portable copy of your data in a usable electronic format. You also have protections concerning decisions based solely on automated processing that significantly affect you. Contact us to request review, explain your position or challenge an affected decision.
Send your request to info@kadenetworks.com, identifying the account and the right you want to exercise. Verification should be proportionate. Applicable statutory response periods and lawful exceptions apply. A reason should be provided if a request cannot be fulfilled.
Children and sensitive information
Processing children’s information requires the protections applicable under Kenyan law, including parental or guardian consent where required and attention to the child’s best interests. Do not submit another person’s sensitive information unless necessary and authorised. A guardian can contact us about information submitted by a child.
External links and notice changes
External websites have separate privacy practices. Review their notices before providing information. Updates to this notice will appear here with a revised date; any new use requiring consent needs a separate choice.
